Chain of Ponds approached “Steve the Bartender” a licensed Adelaide mobile cocktail bartending service  to come up with six fun and exciting cocktails using Island Sting honey Liqueur!

Spicy Honeypot

Spicy Honeypot        

• 30mL Spiced Rum
• 20mL Chain of Ponds Island Sting Honey Liqueur
• 20mL Fresh Lime Juice
• 10mL Sugar Syrup
• Dash of The Bitter Truth Orange Bitters


Add all ingredients except the bitters to a boston glass filled with ice. Shake & strain into a chilled coupe glass. Garnish with a dash of bitters & a twist of lime.


Honey/Whiskey Sour

Honey/Whisky Sour        

• 30mL Single Malt Scotch Whisky
• 30mL Chain of Ponds Island Sting Honey Liqueur
• 30mL Fresh Lemon Juice
• 15mL Sugar Syrup
• Drizzle of Honey
• 1 Egg White


Add all ingredients to a boston glass and dry shake. Add ice and continue to shake before double straining into an elegant flute (or serve it like a traditional sour over fresh ice in a double old fashioned – bitters optional).


Boozy Bumblebee

Boozey Bumblebee        

• 30mL Bourbon Whiskey
• 30mL Chain of Ponds Island Sting Honey Liqueur
• 15mL Fresh Lemon Juice
• Bundaberg Ginger Beer
• Dash of The Bitter Truth Grapefruit Bitters
• Garnish: Mint Sprig


Add all ingredients to a boston glass filled with ice. Shake & strain into a hi-ball
filled with fresh ice. Garnish with a mint sprig.


Bees Knees

Bees Knees        

• 45mL Gin
• 30mL Chain of Ponds Island Sting Honey Liqueur
• 15mL Fresh Lemon Juice
• 15mL Sugar
• Garnish: Twist of Lemon


Add all ingredients except the bitters to a boston glass filled with ice. Shake & strain into a chill coupe glass. Garnish with a twist of lemon.


Honey Paloma

Honey Paloma        

• 30mL Chain of Ponds Island Sting Honey Liqueur
• Grapefruit Soda


Coat the top rim of a hi-ball with lemon juice then dip in sugar. Build the ingredients in the hi-ball over ice. Stir & garnish with a wedge of lime.


Honey Hi-ball

Honey Hi-ball        

• 45mL Chain of Ponds Island Sting Honey Liqueur
• Bundaberg Ginger Beer
• Dash of Angostura Bitters
• Garnish: Rosemary Sprig


Build the ingredients in a hi-ball over ice. Stir & garnish with a sprig of rosemary.
